In hydrocarbons exploitation our Companies are renowned for their use of cutting edge-technology in the following areas: electricity generation using associated gas in oil production; crude refining for diesel production; the use of enzymes for improvement in water injection and re-injection processes associated to oil production; use of SCADA for monitoring, operative control and optimization of oil production and geological and reservoir models for the control and optimization of reserve fluid production.  Machinery mobilized for well drilling is modified with modern systems in order to protect the environment and improve operational efficiency.
